2006 was a signifcant year in the history of the club and many important events were held to celebrate and acknowledge the foresight of our forefathers,so why not consider joining us to enjoy this sport of bowls and to launch the club into the next 100 years......................... |
The club welcomes new members,especially ladies of all ages and if you are new to the game,keen to give it a try,instruction is available from our fully qualified coaches.If you want to find out more just pop in to see us or you can contact either of our Secretaries listed.The bowling season runs from May until the end of September but many social events are held during the winter months. |
Our Monday Club Group is well supported and provides a relaxed but competitive afternoon game of bowls.Ideal for the new bowlers to learn the skills and practice their shots.Many of our experienced bowlers are part of the group and always ready to give a helping hand when asked for.Over the years their membership has increased as can be seen from the group photo below showing them opening the 2008 season in the new Club Colours
